MiraclePay and zerohash bring stablecoin payments to US merchants
On 26 August 2026 MiraclePay, the payment platform from MetaTerra, announced a partnership with zerohash that lets merchants in the US accept stablecoin payments.
How it works
MiraclePay onboards merchants and handles payment acceptance, at the counter and online.
zerohash provides the regulated infrastructure behind it: conversion, custody, liquidity and settlement.
Payments settle in near real time, because the money moves on the blockchain instead of through several banks.
zerohash operates regulated entities across 51 US jurisdictions, which is what makes a nationwide launch possible.
What they said
"The U.S. market needs payment infrastructure that merchants can trust," said Hakan Törehan, CEO of MetaTerra.
Why it matters
For merchants, stablecoin payments can mean faster settlement and lower costs than traditional card payments, especially for cross-border customers. The US launch follows MiraclePay's partnership with Bitso in Latin America earlier this year.
